Who: Edgard and Sophie
When: 15th of May 2007
Where: Buenos Aires Suburb

My husband Edgard and I decided to get married in a place that all our friends and family could come together and experience a vacation while attending our wedding. We chose Buenos Aires, Argentina and called on the assistance of MG Destination Planners

Gloria was our Destination Wedding Consultant who would never give up. She was available 25 hours a day and at this particular wedding, that was precisely what we needed!

We were married at the Estancia Las Praderas, and my dream of getting married in sandals finally became true. We had 41 friends and family join us and each came at a different time making Gloria’s job just a little more involved. Prior to the wedding, she was active in coordinating with the resort and wedding coordinators to ensure that Eddie and I got everything we had asked for and expected. I was really impressed.

After the wedding, most of our friends went to Bariloche where we joined them after having some honeymoon at Iguazú Falls. We were amazed. Even though, Gloria didn´t join us in Bariloche, her organization felt as if she was among us.

To complete our trip, we came back to Buenos Aires, and had a marvellous experience during our stay in this magic city. And argentinean people were all so kind and lovely. Our trip was exactly as we had expected. I just wanted to thank MG and Gloria, for giving us the best 15 days of our lives.

Greetings,

Edgard and Sophie

Who: Ivan & Charlotte
When: 20th of February, 2007
Where: Arelauquen, Bariloche

We chose to do a destination wedding because it seemed more personal and more about Ivan and I sharing our life together. Rather than get caught up in a wedding of 300 people, we chose to invite our closest friends and family, the people we really care about and love. To our astonishment we ended up having 39 guests join us for the celebration of a lifetime.

María and I spoke by e-mail only and planned everything via the Internet. This worked out well for me as we were really, really busy and the thought of planning and coordinating was too much to fathom.

So, the big day finally came. We got married at the amazing lodge of Arelauquen, where a perfect day combined with this paradise located on the Gutierrez Lake Valley. My parents and Ivan´s got along great, because the four of them are extremely fond of golf. The rest of our guests enjoyed numerous different activities organized according to their preferences.

Thanks a lot to Maria and crew. I believe in love forever, so this is the first and last time I will be getting married, but if I had to get married again, Argentina would be my destiny and MG my destination planners. Love,

Ivan & Charlotte.

Who: Gavin & Angie
When: 12th of March, 2005
Where: Cariló, Argentina

Hi there. My name is Angie Costanza. My husband Gavin and I got married at Carilo’s Seashore, in Argentina on March 12th, 2005. Ever since, we got engaged we were indecisive between a traditional wedding and a destination wedding. But the amount of money we would have saved on a destination wedding was huge so we decided to go with it. Gone that far, we were decided to have our dreamt day at Montego Bay, Jamaica, but a twist of fate, and the recommendations of our friends Jake and Lisa, led us to MG Destination Planners, and that’s how we inclined for Buenos Aires.

Since we had over 25 people attending, we really needed constant attention to plan their travel arrangements as well as find the best family packages possible. At MGDP, they were able to find and arrange a travel package suited for our guests that were coming from the States as well as Spain and Portugal. We really are grateful for all the work and effort they have put into our destination wedding.

Our wedding was such a success; even friends and family that attended our wedding said that they would consider using the services of Destination Weddings. We loved the Cathedral and had terrific fun in Buenos Aires, the never sleeping city.

Thanks Destination Weddings for making our wedding very special.

Best regards,

Angélica Constanza

When my husband proposed to me we immediately knew we wanted a small destination wedding. I also knew that Argentina would be the most cost effective - and we would have a great attendance.

MG Destination Planners was extremely helpful and did most of the legwork for me. I didn't want the stress of keeping track of who was coming and all the fine details.

Mary, alias Piti, was our Destination Wedding Specialist with whom we worked very closely. She is a wonderful, persistent, dedicated person whom I would recommend to anyone. She was available at all times of the day to ensure that everyone had all the information they needed.

We got married at the Iguazú Falls, on September the 21st. All 45 of us arrived and departed without any complications. Sue made sure the wedding coordinator at the resort was well aware of my many detailed requests. Mr. Brizueño, the wedding coordinator at the resort and the rest of the resort staff was amazing and went above and beyond to meet our needs. The photographer Maria recommended, Javier Lanusse and his wife were fabulous as well; I would highly recommend their services.

The hotel was great and MG was outstanding. Not only can your guests make reservations through the Destination Weddings agent, but if by chance you find a competing package through another outlet, they will match it.

Our wedding was truly amazing. I would not have done it any other way. We have now been married 8 months and still look back at that wonderful day. I have already recommended friends and family to use this website. Thanks for the wonderful memories!

Alice Smith.
